Friday, Harper's zest for life got the best of her. She took a tumble and skinned her face, right below her right nostril, on a brick. Oh, the poor poor baby girl has a scab that looks remarkably like a bugger. To add insult to injury, my clumsiness got the best of her today. Trying to manage her, the stroller, the groceries and two doors in the vestibule was just too much to handle. A door hit her, leaving a large bruise on the left side of her face. She looks like a toddler you would not want to meet in a dark alley. She is handling the whole thing very well. The pain has subsided, and she has not figured out the baby in the mirror, a.k.a. 'Scarface', is her.
This has nothing to do with anything at all, but any-who: With all the breakfast goodies being made around here these days, we had some makings for homemade salad dressing.
Blue Cheese & Leftovers Dressing:
1/4 C buttermilk
1/4 C sour cream
1 T lemon juice
1/4 t salt
tons of freshly ground black pepper
lots and lots of blue cheese
If I had thought ahead, though, I might have made this yummy dressing...
