Harper is almost 18 months, which means my baby is only a baby for 6 more months. Everyday she makes huge strides toward becoming a fully functional college bound adult, by like using a spoon and stuff. Also, she walks around calling the cat in the same high-pitched draw-out voice I use, "Trrriiii-xie!" At first, the cat would come, but she has learned it is in her best interest to stay put.
Skylar got Harper a Baby Alive doll last weekend. She has spent the week feeding her doll the bottle, and trying to get goldfish in that tinny plastic mouth. When it came time for bath time the other evening, she ran in the bathroom and threw her baby in the tub. The doll's heavy plastic head made the loudest saddest thump on the porcelain. I don't think Harper is ready to be a real mama, yet.

Oh my Gaw, I loved my Baby Alive. I'm quite jealous of Harper right now.
